There was one time where I locked myself out of the control room (in the studio in Hodges, does this count?) and I had just put in "I am Curious Oranj" by The Fall. I really didn't like that studio as much - too sanitized - and it was easy for a dumbshit like myself to do this...

Anyway, I think the CD had played all the way through twice before I was able to finally track down the engineer - Keith Stokes - who let me back in.

That's one show I'd like to have back.

I did that when I was doing the classical show. I had put on a Steve Reich cut, and actually got a phone call that the record was skipping. Yeah! But then I left the room to root for new stuff, and the dreadful click of the lock resonated through the empty halls. The needle was clucking in the inside groove for like five minutes before a resuce arrived, and no phone calls. I figure I either alienated or indoctrinated the audience that morning.
