Who was the musician that said "the best way to get into the music industry is to suck a mean C--K?" He was live on the air until the 2 announcers hung up on him after 10 seconds of intense silence.

This was the late 90's and for some reason I think Chris Lundgren was interviewing the guy.

Anyone remember who that was?

Anyone remember getting the telephone delay soon after that?

Wow, did they handle that badly! Why were they silent? Are kids so conservative today that the word "cock" shocks them?? Besides, the silence just accentuates the mistake. And hanging up is so rude. They should've apologized to the audience and warned/remined him that he can't say such things on the air. (If he's an asshole and does it again, then hang up.)

Todd,

The interview you are referring to was with that guy called Spy I believe.

Someone who worked there at the time

I used to do the hardcore punk show in the mid 80's, and once did an interview with "Burnt Eclipse", a Baton Rouge punk band with Charles Cook, Carlos Carrasco & Paul Neff. They showed up for the interview (at the time, a midnight to 3 slot, later got a 9-midnight slot) in tighty whiteys and shoes, nothing more. Made me a little nervous, but was funny as fuck. Blake

I interviewed Alan Holdsworth once and I actually saw it on the internet once. Also interviewed Gilli Smyth (mother Gong- a spinoff of Gong). I have the Holdsworth interview on cassette as well as hours of the shows I did, also some from WRKF when i worked over there. Not exactly sure where they are but know that I have them...
