I haven't logged on in a while so just catching up on a few threads: I've actually seen Mitch Easter perform recently, yes, as a trio. It was great to hear those songs in a club setting once more. They were a favorite of the 688 Club in Atlanta when I worked there.

I was just listening to Let's Active recently - got everything he/they did. Also found (bittorrent) some nice "Wee Three" boots, before they were called "Let's Active". Really interesting primitive versions of their stuff from "Afoot".

I thought it was really funny how they got their name - someone saw the words "Let's Active" on a Japanese T-shirt. Apparently even though most Japanese only have a very rudimentary grasp of the English language, they don't really know what is good and bad grammar. All they know is it looks cool on their clothing.

Lots of these items at http://www.engrish.com - I check it every now and then for a good laugh. Anyway, that's how they got their name.

Ah hell, forgot to post my original question - does Mitch Easter still do any of his stuff from the Let's Active catalogue? Some really amazing stuff in there. Wish I'd have gone to see them when I had the chance.
