Same as Sue, found her after some searching on the web.. a few emails back and forth... invited her to the the forum... never heard a thing again .... Elise has done great... she is teaching in Idaho, published author , mother... website link I hope we see her here as well. |

Hi Scott and KLSUers, It took me awhile to get here, but here I am. It's been great to see names I haven't heard for so many years. After LSU, I spent some time in New Mexico and Boston, then settled down to graduate school at UC-Irvine. Married a fellow writer, and we spent 8 years living in San Diego and traveling a lot in Latin America, working as freelance writers and translators. Then we had a daughter (Esme), now 7. We spent some time in northern California, then 4 years in Princeton. I thought living in New Jersey was hillarious, and then things got funnier: Idaho. I've been teaching fiction writing at Boise State University but move this summer to teach at the University of South Carolina. (Back to the SEC!) My husband and daughter are not southerners, so wish them luck. My novel (HUNGER) came out in pb last year and may well be at your local library.... I also publish short fiction and nonfiction. I'd love to hear from anyone. Elise |
