I remember having to come in and tell Zia sometimes that we had a live baseball broadcast that would preempt his show...he loved it when that happened and no one told him. Does Zia still syndicate his show to California? |

Zia used to tape his show and send it to San Diego to a station out there...from what I remember. |

We stream taped shows of "Dinner Jazz" Sunday nights at 6pm. He records them on minidisk at WBRH then I pick them up at his office and bring them back to KSLU in Hammond. YEA(!) for Zia!! The dude was/is always the best. The same can't be said for the writer of the article, though. That is some of the worst journalistic writing that I have ever seen! Anyhoo, it's great to see Zia get some recognition! -Jenni |
