Hi everyone. After years of bouncing around, I'm moving again--closer to Baton Rouge this time. I'm joining the creative writing faculty at the University of South Carolina this fall and will move in June.

I have info on Tim Parrish, whose bands used to play at the Bayou. He's a professor in Connecticut and the author of a great collection of short stories about Baton Rouge: Red Stick Men.

Demon! Great to hear from you. I still have that Sandoz LSD anniversary shirt I got from you, and I remember once when ouor son was a toddler I put it on him. He's 13 now, and I'm sure he'd LOVE to wear a shirt like that now (the cool factor would be offscale for him, which is why I have hidden it).

Great to see you online!

Speaking of sports, does anyone know what happened to Kent Lowe?

John McNally was back in NYC and NJ last time I saw him at the wedding of Greg Fuchs and Alison Collins a few years back. David Z is still in Chicago, last I heard. Adele Borie is part of the 3 Ring Circus in New Orleans. John Arrizza is living back in Metairie after numerous meltdowns and whatnots. Rob Cambre is a radio host on WWOZ, a musician, and still organizes avant-jazz events in New Orleans. I left New Orleans (and WWOZ  ) after Katrina and moved to San Francisco/Pacifica, California.
