Post subject:  Bumper stickers
Does anybody have a spare old KLSU bumper sticker (the light blue & white one)? I need one for my album.

I have a ton of the newer dark blue KLSU bumper stickers, in case anybody wants some.

Yes, Jenni really DOES have a lot of these... look what we did to each other for Halloween 1987:

The picture doesn't show it, but the stickers went all the way down to our ankles. I remember how we had to wrap Barry's legs in plastic wrap before we stuck the stickers on, so that it wouldn't pull all his leg hairs off. Little did we know that we would both sweat so much in all that plastic, that the stickers just fell off when we cut the costume open with scissors! That was my favorite costume.

But the reason I have so many, isn't because of that Halloween. It's because I was the one who used to take them to places to leave, so people could have them. For years after I left LSU, I would find whole bricks of those in my stuff, and I would give them to people to take back to the station. I recently found 2 1/2 more bricks of them, but it would be pointless to get them back to KLSU, since they no longer use that logo.

only one.... and is not available :!: I think those are hard to come by.

But, I will look thru my stuff again, all I have found so far is 2 bricks of the dark blues (like in the logo for this site).

If any one wants some of those, contact me and I'll figure out something.

BTW, love the bumper stickers on Jenni (oh..... to be a bumper sticker :wink: )

Somewhere I might still have a bumper sticker but I don't know where. One of the joys of being a married man. Your stuff disappears. :lol:

I did see one of my cups with the design the other day. It has held up pretty well.

I also just put my hands on a poster from the first Juke in the Box in 1984, along with ticket #3. The Producers was the headliner.

I still have a couple of cups too. Where they are exactly, I don't know, but I know I put them somewhere safe. (Too safe for me to find.)

I'm hoping that I still have one somewhere - only it wasn't the Blue one - it was the "first edition" KLSU sticker sponsored by Golden Flake potato chips. Will have to go looking in my old boxes! :idea:
