That song was so damn long and repetitive anyway, it might've just seemed like it was skipping! I do remember turning on the radio late one night and hearing the end of a record for about a minute. I'm talking about the real end of the record - where the needle keeps hitting the center label. I drove to the station, hearing that "thump crackle, thump crackle" the whole time. When I walked into the control room, I found Dave the Rave asleep on the board. The poor guy woke up to a high pitched "What the hell are you doing??" He was so apologetic. I felt awful for bitching at him. To this day, I still feel bad about it, so Dave - I'm so sorry! -Jenni |

Nouvelle Vague has come out with a cool album of covers (mostly 80s), including a really good version of 'Bela Lugosi's Dead'. Check it out. -Jenni |
