Over on general radio chat board Radio-Info, a user is asking about tapes of KLSU he found. Says they are dated 1984, '85 and '86. I did not want to de-lurk this board to R-I, but here is his question:

Greetings from Houston. Four years ago I stumbled upon some tapes at a Goodwill that were recordings of LSU's college radio station KLSU from 1984, 85 and 86. These aren't airckecks; someone just loaded a tape, hit record and let it roll till the end of the tape (they had auto-reverse), capturing music, news, weather and spots. Now I'm just wondering if anyone knows the origns of these tapes. The only thing I could find was an inscription:
Fizz,
I just put this tape on one day and left it on record. Knew you'd be interested
in some "new tunes." Hope you enjoy it.

This might have been some college students, or perhaps one of the DJs that worked there. Any info would be great. Thanks.

Wow, that's pretty intriguing! I wonder who the jocks on the tapes are?
