This is Ujjal. I'm the new webmaster of KLSU. I'm 19 and a Computer Science sophomore. I'm from India and have been outsourced by KLSU to add some zest to online content - something that goes un-noticed! I love your country and I've learnt a lot from fantastic people like yall and I'm still learning.....

Ahem, this sunday, we will have our first executive staff meeting. And, my agenda is just straight forward - to join the missing links. You may be from Texas, Florida, New York or even Europe et al. but you guys can't hear the good ole 91.1 anymore. I guess you guys can understand what I'm talking about. Yes, online streaming!

Just a matter of days my friends, soon you will be hearing rich high quality content online and LIVE! All I need and request is your continued support and love. Just wait to hear some more surprises coming .....

About Myself - I'm a big fan of 80s and 90s music and we used to have Jam sessions back home - I'm from a place world-famous for "Assam Tea" and was the second place after Pennsylvania where crude oil was discovered.

My personal view -

I may be wrong, but, to be precise, there was one unauthorized SSH access on Monday. All servers(Student Media servers including that of Reveille etc.) were locked down to tract that culprit. Few have been relieved now only. Databases have not been restored yet. Thats what I see. Auth. to update the site is still locked.

I'll update soon.

Allright fellas, we bought our own brand new P4 4 ghz streaming server

Streaming to start within a week or so. Stay tuned.

Its been so long since I've been able to listen to klsu, the transmitter doesn't reach over to England, but i have had a few tapes made for me since i was in BR.
This streaming server is the best thing to happen to my music anticipation receptors for a very long time.

Any potential listeners further afield than England?

AAC+ is way better than MP3 streaming - saves bandwidth for same or even better quality output.
